Pretty Pink Home Decor Ideas – Saturday Spotlight

Happy weekend and welcome to the Saturday Spotlight!   Is the weather getting nicer where you live?  Here in New Jersey, we’ve had some lovely spring days with a few cold and windy ones mixed in…totally expected this time of year.  Just this week, our trees have started to bloom and should be bursting with beautiful pink flowers in a few days.  Since I was inspired by all the pretty colors outside, I’ve decided to share some pink home decor ideas so we can enjoy some color inside!

Pink Home Decor Ideas – Faux Cherry Blossoms:

Of course, I couldn’t wait for my trees to bloom so this week I bought some artificial cherry blossoms.  I love how they added just the right amount of spring color to my home!

Apparently, I’ve been in a shopping mood because I also purchased some adorable blue and pink notecards from my latest find – Simply Jessica Marie.

Not only did I fall in love with all her gorgeous water colors, but I’m also thinking of taking one of her online water color classes!  After all, we’ll still be home for awhile so why not make good use of the time?  Even though I consider myself “creative”, I’m not very artistic so I thought it might be fun to challenge myself a little. 

Pink Home Decor Ideas – Hydrandreas in the Foyer:

Every spring, I love decorating with pink hydrangeas.  One year, I made them the focal point in my foyer…

Can you believe I bought that lovely plant at the grocery store?  Even more surprising was that I kept it alive for a long time! 

This year, I tried a different flower combination when I decorated with pink in here again!

Pink Home Decor Shopping Finds:

Since I’m the only female in our house (besides the dog), I find myself attracted to all the pretty pink items in the stores!  Of course, I can never pass up anything buffalo check! 

Lately, I’ve been loving all kinds of colored glassware…
