Before we begin, I want to thank my sweet friend, Cecelia from My Thrift Store Addiction for hosting this hop today. For the first stop on the tour, she’s sharing Mother’s Day gifts from the garden. If you are just arriving from Shiplap and Shells, – Welcome! I’m sure you were blown away by Kim’s gorgeous cottage garden! Seriously, her whole yard belongs in a magazine…actually, it has been featured in a magazine! If you haven’t visited her blog yet, make sure you do!
Now, let’s head outdoors to see my Mother’s Day Table Setting Decor…
Here in New Jersey, the spring weather has arrived! The sun is shining, the trees are blooming and the grass is green! With this lovely weather, I just had to set a table outside for Mother’s Day! Now, my mom can spend the day with us and not have to worry.
By the time that Sunday arrives, my flower gardens should be blooming and will provide the perfect background for my festive Mother’s Day table decor!
When the weather cooperates, we like to spend as much time as possible out on the patio. Since we can’t travel yet, we try to make our outdoor living areas feel like a vacation. While you’re here, be sure to read my tips to create a backyard staycation!
Mother’s Day Table Setting Decor with an Island Vibe:
For this year’s Mother’s Day table, I brought a little British Colonial style out to the patio. From the blue and white porcelain, to the cane and seagrass pieces, I tried to create of feeling of being on vacation. Plus, we just opened our pool so that helped set the scene!
Thanks for stopping by to see how I decorated my Mother’s Day table setting.
Hopefully, I gave you some ideas to use when you’re entertaining outdoors!
