Mother’s Day Celebration Ideas – Table Settings for Brunch:

Casual dining at home…

Even though some of you will be venturing out to restaurants for Mother’s Day, I’m sure many of you (myself included) will be celebrating Mother’s Day at home.  Here is an example of how I decorated a casual Mother’s Day table a couple years ago.  I think this look could work for brunch, lunch or even dinner.

If you want to see all the details, which included a coordinated bar cart for the occasion…be sure to read that blog post.

One year, I shared an outdoor Mother’s Day table setting decor.  For the table design, I went with a tropical British Colonial style.  If you’re not traveling, why not create a vacation vibe at home?!!

Sweet treats for a sweet mom…

Whether you’re cooking yourself or ordering take-out for Mother’s Day, don’t forget the dessert!  This pound cake recipe is delicious and the fruit will make you feel less guilty for eating dessert!

If your mom likes to indulge a bit more, try this white chocolate silk pie – which is a huge hit with our family.  With our recipe, you can make it with white chocolate or regular chocolate…something for every taste!

Mother’s Day Celebration Ideas – Flowers and Festivals:

What mom doesn’t love flowers?…

Sure, you could buy your mom flowers for Mother’s Day but it would also be fun to take her to a flower festival!  In the past, I’ve visited Holland Ridge Farms for their annual tulip festival.  Yes, it was amazing…

A couple years ago, I wrote blog post about the tulip farm.

If you have any flower festivals or garden tours in your area, consider taking your mom!  I’d love it if my boys bought me tickets for another one!

Show your mom some love with some thoughtful gifts…

If your mom loves blue and white decor, these candlesticks would make a lovely gift!

For a mom with a sense of humor, this is very cute!

Sure, a robe might seem cliche’ (remember the Saturday Night Live skit?!!), but this robe looks very spa-like to me!

If you aren’t able to celebrate Mother’s Day in person this year, send your mom a festive gift basket!

Or, set up a bulb of the month gift!
