From hot summer days to cool summer nights…

A few years ago, we redesigned our backyard and built a new pool and patio.  Not only has it been a wonderful outdoor living space for our family but it’s become a great place to entertain friends and family.  A couple weeks ago, I replaced our flimsy plastic Adirondack chairs with these Polywood chairs!  What a difference they’ve made around our firepit!

Kick Off the Summer with a Treat for Yourself:

Not only is this the perfect summer bag, but it has the look of the more expensive ones.  Since it was low in stock, check the Mango website to see if they’re still carrying the smaller version.

Start off the summer season in style…

If you want to get the Pottery Barn look for less, check out these two table runners.  Seriously, I think they look identical!  In fact, I just ordered the “save” version and will be creating a summer tablescape in the near future.  *Update: I styled the runner on my coffee table in my latest summer home tour!

If you enjoy live music under the stars, order your summer tickets soon…

In New Jersey, the PNC Bank Arts Center is a popular place to see a concert.  In fact, I was just browsing through their summer schedule and noticed The Beach Boys will be appearing there on June 1st.  Is there a better band to kick-off the summer season?  In the past, we’ve kicked of the summer with summery bands like Zac Brown…(who I hope to see this summer as well!)
