Coastal Inspired Ideas from the Blog:
As we head into summer, you can’t go wrong with a blue and white coastal table setting.
Even though I decorated this coastal table in my kitchen, this look would work on the patio or any outdoor area.
Lately, everyone is talking about the “coastal grandmother” trend which was inspired by various Nancy Meyers movies. I mean, who can forget the iconic living room?…
As you probably, know, this movie was filmed many years ago yet the classic coastal design of the home is timeless! If you love this breezy coastal style, read more about why we love Something’s Gotta Give!

Show up to that coastal town in style with a pretty monogrammed straw tote!
These are even pretty enough to use every day! Here in New Jersey, we now have to bring our own bags when shopping…so this one is perfect!
Don’t forget a hostess gift when you arrive for a weekend on the coast. A cute wine bag makes any bottle of wine extra special!

I’m a big fan of coastal style and had fun decorating my apartment in Florida. I had one rule though – no tacky flamingos! I am quite tempted to anonymously send your link of how to be great guests to my friend and her husband, who were the most difficult guests we’ve ever had. A two-night visit seemed like an eternity, and included sandy sneakers on my kitchen counter,a trail of mess everywhere, and oh, yes, a midnight trip to the vet because they left a chocolate-covered power bar on the floor in their room. Don’t ask! I do feel better now that I’ve vented all of that!
Oh Amy – that’s hilarious! Though, it probably wasn’t at the time! And yes, I agree with the flamingos…lol!
