If you want update a lamp with color, buy a pleated lampshade…

Recently, I swapped my plain linen lampshade in my foyer for a colorful pleated lampshade!  I just happened to find one in the perfect color blue to coordinate with my blue dresser.

Use a pleated lampshade to repeat the same pattern in a room…

First of all, can we just take a second to appreciate this stunning space?  This keeping room, designed by Susan Farcy Interior Design was one of the beautiful rooms from the Mansion in May 2023 Designer Showhouse tour.  As you can see, she used the same pattern on the lampshade and the slipper chair for a cohesive look.

Add pleated lampshades to your chandelier…

On the other side of this gorgeous keeping room, the designer mixed more patterns and decorated with patterned lampshades on the chandelier.  In my opinion, the pleated lampshades helped to complete the space.
