Hampton Designer Showhouse 2018 – Exterior Tour
Have you ever been to one of the Hampton Designer Showhouse tours? If not, get ready for some amazing inspiration!
Last week, we took a road trip to the Hampton Designer Showhouse 2018 – presented by Traditional Home.
Every year, I think about taking the trip out there but the summer flies by so fast. This year, we made it happen and I am so glad we did!
The 2018 Hampton Designer Showhouse is a newly constructed 8,200 square foot home built by Barsalin Building and Design and is located in Bridgehampton, New York. This year, the funds raised from the showhouse will benefit Stony Brook Southampton Hospital.
What’s not to love about a white house with huge windows? Already, we are off to a great start!
Today, we are going to focus on the outdoor spaces of the Hampton Designer Showhouse.
In my next post, I will take you inside the showhouse.
Let’s begin with one of my favorite colorful spaces which could qualify for both an indoor and outdoor space: the covered porch…
Such an inviting spot with the happiest mix of colors and fabrics!
This space was designed by the mother, daughter team, The Rinfret Group.
You can see why I was crazy about their choice of fabrics and the overall coastal-preppy vibe. Don’t you just adore this pillow?
From there, I will take you around to the lovely patio located off the back of the house…
Also designed by The Rinfret Group for Lloyd Flanders, the patio was another alluring space where they continued to wow us with their choice of fabrics.
Pink perfection mixed with blue and white…a winning combination!
Imagine lounging on this large stone patio with several seating areas anchored with beautiful outdoor rugs.
Just a few steps down from the patio…you will find a luxurious pool!
The pool surround was designed by Kim E. Courtney Interiors & Design also partnered with Lloyd Flanders.
Black and white striped cushions mixed with vibrant pillows gave a glamorous old Hollywood feel to the space.
Just when you think the pool can’t get any better, you notice a tennis court just beyond it.
Nearby, you will find a grilling area and a large spa with a waterfall feature. If you ask me, I would say that helps check all the boxes. Why would you ever have to go out?
Could you imagine hosting a party back here? Definitely a choice of beautiful places to sit and sip a cocktail!
Getting too much sun on these sectional sofas? How about we wind up this tour with a walk back to that covered terrace back in the corner?
Yes, another amazing space that blew us all away! This gorgeous covered terrace was designed by Rajni Alex Design for Woodard. Let me give you a minute to take it all in…
From the colorful fabrics to the orchids and the mirrors, this outdoor room was something special.
Though it was hard to pick a favorite design element, that window-mirror between the shutters was impressive. What a creative idea to bring more depth to the space.
Seriously, who wouldn’t love a coffee table with a built in champagne cooler? Definitely, an entertainer’s dream!
Cheers to all the gorgeous outdoor spaces!
If you are heading to the Hamptons this summer, I highly recommend stopping in to visit this year’s Hampton Designer Showhouse. You can buy tickets in advance or at the door. See their website for more information but hurry because the showhouse is only open until September 3rd!

Wow, so much to see. This place is amazing
I agree! Luckily we visited on a weekday and we didn't have to wait in line. In fact, we practically had the place to ourselves! So much inspiration!
I have been to one other Traditional Home designer house, but this one tops it by a mile! I cannot imagine what it would be like to live in those spaces!! The concrete 'jacks' game pieces are so whimsical!
Aren't those jacks cute?! There were so many unique touches throughout. It was definitely worth the 3 1/2 hour road trip out there!
Shelley, I really enjoyed these outdoor spaces, they are beautiful. Can’t wait to see the interior.
Aren't they gorgeous? Tons of inspiration!
This is absolutely stunning, Shelley! I have been to quite a few designer show houses; it's always fun to see such extraordinary homes and how the different designers decorate the spaces. I just love these black and white cabana stripes, and if I'm ever lucky enough to have a pool, I'd use this as inspiration. Can't wait to see the rest!
Lovely. Everything is beautiful. I am amazed at the coffee with a built in ice bucket.
WOW. What a space. I just love it. Especially that window mirror… and the chilled champagne? AH-mazing.Carriecurlycraftymom.com
