Welcome March! (Pretty Ideas for the Spring Season)

Hello friends!  Welcome to the Saturday Spotlight and welcome March!!  Each week, I like to highlight a different home related theme or topic to inspire you.  Now that we’ve reached the month of spring, we can give ourselves permission to start decorating for the new season!  Hooray!  Today, I’m sharing spring ideas to help you welcome March!

Welcome March to Your Home:

Start with some new throw pillows…

For spring, you can’t go wrong with a green botanical print.  These pillow covers are ridiculously inexpensive…so I bought two!  First, I mixed one in with the more wintery accessories in my family room.  It kind of blends winter and spring together…

Then, I tried them out in my living room.  With the tropical vibe I already have going on in there, I’m loving the look!  

*Decorating Tip:  Buy pillow inserts in a few sizes and then swap out the covers each season.  It saves money and storage space!

Set a spring table for St. Patrick’s Day…

Of course, we can’t welcome March without mentioning St. Patrick’s Day!  Since March 17th is right around the corner, bring out all your green!  One year, I decorated a St. Patrick’s Day table and it’s been a favorite of mine every since.  To see more of this table, read – St. Patrick’s Day Table Decor.

Decorate your mantel for spring to welcome March…
