Now, let’s get started with my simple spring decorating ideas!

Today, we’ll begin at the front door where I hung a spring wreath…

This year, I went with a lavender inspired wreath…although my pink tulip wreath from last year would probably have gone better with my foyer.  Unfortunately, a bird made a nest in the tulip wreath last year and I had to replace it.  I’m afraid it’s only a matter of time before birds find this one!  I guess I’ll just enjoy this wreath as long as I can…

Simple Spring Decorating Ideas for the Foyer:

Pink tulips and greenery…

Besides the new wreath, I reused most of my spring decor from last year.  This year, I split up my faux tulip bunches and displayed them in wrapped vases.  Actually, the “vases” are drink glasses…always great to repurpose.

Since I recently hung a black and white gallery wall in my foyer, I wanted to add a little black to the table.  By adding the lantern and black lamp, I achieved the look I wanted.

As I mentioned, these tulips are artificial.  In the spring, I usually buy tulips on a regular basis but it was just easier to style this table and be done.  Plus, my husband thought the tulips were real so I think I’ll just keep it this way.

After all, I’ll probably keep my foyer decorated like this for a couple months…or at least through Easter.  If you want to add seasonal accessories to your home, the entryway or foyer is a great place to start!

Simple Spring Decorating Ideas – Living Room:

Traditional style with neutrals and textures…

In my living room, I kept most of year-round accessories and then added a few spring touches.  With the neutrals and rusty reds in this room, it didn’t make sense to bring any of the pink from the foyer in here.

On the piano, I placed a white pitcher filled with tulips.  Yes, these tulips are real.  As a nod to Easter, I also added a white ceramic bunny.

With the seagrass chairs and cane coffee table, the room already has a springy vibe…well maybe a Caribbean vacation vibe.  Either way, I wanted the room to feel fresh and springy.  To style the space up for warmer weather, I added some more greenery and some woven textures to the coffee table.

Instead of adding a lot of color, a woven bowl filled with green and wicker orbs was just enough.

Simple Spring Decorating Ideas – Kitchen:

White with splashes of pink…

When you have a white kitchen, you can pretty much decorate with any color.  This year, I added splashes of pink.

Recently, I bought this cute blue and white pitcher so I filled it with faux pink peonies.  For my kitchen island, I often use trays to display simple centerpieces.

Pink flowers stand out beautifully against the white cabinets.  Since these are up high, it makes sense to go with faux flowers again.  Who wants to climb up to water them all the time?!

Once again, a couple white bunnies add to the springy Easter vibe without being too obvious!  Simple and subtle!

This week, we’ve had a few warm days so I was able to open the windows!  Already, I can smell spring in the air!

And spring is also on my window sills as well… Just a few more tulips and bunnies to welcome the season!  For more window sill decorating ideas, read – Kitchen Window Sill Decorating Ideas for Every Season.
