Scalloped Decor (Ideas for Your Spring Home Styling)
Hello friends! Welcome to the Saturday Spotlight! Each week, I like to highlight a different home related theme or topic to inspire you. For the past few years, scalloped decor has been popular and seems to be sticking around for awhile. Sure, this whimsical edging isn’t for everyone but I think in small doses, it can add character and charm to your home. Today, I’m sharing some simple scalloped decor ideas to inspire you!

Scalloped Decor Ideas for Your Home:
Keep it simple with a scalloped tray…
In my opinion, you can never have enough trays! Last year, I added a wicker one with scallop detail to my tray collection. Besides being the perfect container to hold my spring accessories, it added a pretty touch to my Easter decor!
Set a dining table with scalloped napkins…
To dress up my Easter table one year, I brought out my pink gingham napkins with a scalloped edge. (Yes, they are the same napkins in the photo above.) I love the way the sweet detail coordinated with the cute bunnies.
Display flowers in scalloped containers…
When you buy orchids, they usually come in a boring little pot. To add some visual interest, transfer your flowers to a pot with a colorful scalloped design.
Or, fill a pretty scalloped bowl with fluffy hydrangeas… Last year, I bought this white pedestal bowl but it also comes in a shallow version which makes a gorgeous serving dish!
Create a centerpiece on your coffee table with a scalloped wicker bowl…
Last summer, I went coastal in my living room with a scalloped bowl filled with greenery and starfish. With its shape and large size, the bowl made a perfect focal point on my coffee table. Unfortunately, my exact bowl has been discontinued but if you love the look, this large seagrass bowl has the same coastal vibes. Since the scallops are a little more subtle, it’s probably a bit more timeless than mine.
Add a touch of scalloped decor to your kitchen…
Last year, I bought this cute spoon rest with scalloped edges. If you want to save money, something like this is an easy way to acknowledge the trend by barely spending anything! (It makes a great ring tray too!)
