  1. So many great ideas in this post Shelley! You have two beautiful spaces for holiday meals. We have Christmas Eve at our house—including our three pups and two, grand dogs. Christmas morning we swing by our daughter/SIL house to see what Santa brought their kiddos (ages 8, 5, 1) Afterwards we head 30 minutes south to see what Santa brought our grandkids (ages 18, 16, 8) at our son/DILs house. After many years of flying to MN before we had grandchildren, I am so thankful to avoid airports. Happy week of holiday prep!

    1. Thanks Diane – and wow, you’ve got some busy days ahead! Our schedule is a little different every year but we always start with a big Christmas breakfast at our house where my husband cooks – yay! And luckily, our extended families are all within an hour so there’s not much driving involved. Enjoy your Christmas with all those doggies, kids etc!

  2. I love entertaining, and agree with you that things on my to-do list get done when I know guests are coming. I love to make charcuterie boards and may have to treat myself to that book. I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas, Shelley!
