Simple Father’s Day Table Setting on the Deck (Outdoor Entertaining)

Since we woke up to a beautiful morning, I decided to set the deck table for our Father’s Day breakfast!  During this time of year, we try to eat outdoors as much as possible.

Although we are a family of four, we have six chairs so I added two settings to make the table look finished! (My kids were annoyed by this!)

Plaid napkins added the perfect masculine touch!

Once again, my preserved boxwood from Homegoods showed up…I move it all over my house!

Originally, the table was simple with just browns, creams and black.

But my son insisted I put the new pillows out even though they added some blue into the mix.

Admittedly, they do brighten it up and they make sitting at the table more comfortable!  Maybe I will listen to his decorating ideas more often!

 Luckily, the sun is shining and we couldn’t ask for better weather today!

 

Even my photo-bombing doggie enjoyed sniffing the fresh morning air!  Obviously, she is positioning herself to snatch up any dropped food…

Since it’s such a beautiful day, we’ll probably sit out here again for dinner tonight.  If it were up to me, we would eat all our meals out on the deck.  While you are here, be sure to check out some other ways I have decorated my table and deck for entertaining.
