Simple Ideas for Creating Easter Vignettes:

Style a tray for Easter…

To display seasonal items, you can’t go wrong with a decorative tray.  Recently, I bought this pretty scalloped tray so I styled it with spring decor.  If you’re hosting a spring or Easter brunch, you could set up a similar tray.  Stack some plates, roll up your silverware in pretty napkins and light a candle for ambiance.

Even if you’re not decorating for Easter, this pretty vignette could stay out all spring…especially since the tulips are artificial!

Speaking of faux flowers, here’s another Easter vignette I created using a tray.  With just a couple white ceramic bunnies, this tray is ready for Easter.

Decorate with a simple bunny…

If you don’t want to go too crazy with the bunny decor, buy one large bunny to use as a focal point.  When I shared my Kitchen Island Decorating Ideas to Celebrate Spring. I created a bunny centerpiece on my island.  With a table runner, some candles, and some faux greenery, I gave the bunny statue the attention it deserved.

In previous years, I’ve also displayed the bunny on top of my stove mantel.  In case you’re wondering, I bought this bunny from Homegoods years ago and it’s one of the most asked about accessories in my home.  I wish I could share other places to buy one.  These distressed bunnies are about the closest I could find!

Accessorize a coffee table with colored Easter eggs…

When my kids were little, the Easter bunny used to hide most of the eggs in our living room.  These days, I still decorate a little in there.  For instance, instead of traditional Easter baskets, I fill a woven bowl with Easter eggs and add a few seasonal items to my coffee table.  With the addition of a couple palm leaves and some little nests, the room is festive without feeling overdone.

For everyday decorating, I usually stack decorating books on my coffee table.  Then I just switch out some of the seasonal accessories like the items in the basket.  After Easter, I’ll probably swap out the eggs for my summer shell collection.

Use a cloche to display decoupaged Easter eggs…

Speaking of Easter eggs…one year, I decoupaged some plastic eggs.  Using a glass cloche is a pretty way to display them.  If you dye real eggs, you probably don’t want to display them in a cloche though.  Over time, I’m sure they would get pretty stinky in there!Decoupaged Easter eggs in glass cloche next to spring plate - Easter Vignettes

Style a bar cart with Easter decorations…

If you have a bar cart, you know it can be a fun spot to create a beautiful Easter vignette.  One year, I included this Easter bar cart as one of my Easter decorating ideas.  If you don’t have a bar cart, a pretty table or even a tiered tray would work!
