Mid September Vibes (Decor and More for a Cozy Fall)
Happy weekend and welcome to the Saturday Spotlight! Each week, I focus on a different theme or topic to inspire you. Well, I’m finally facing the fact that summer is almost officially over…Once the kids went back to school and the nights started getting cooler, it was time to start embracing the upcoming season. Today, I’m sharing early fall ideas with mid-September vibes!

Mid September Vibes – Cozy Inspiration:
A perfect place for early fall cocktails (in Vermont)…
Every fall, we try to make at least one trip up to Vermont. Normally, I try to plan the trip during peak fall foliage but this year, I went up a little earlier. Even though I didn’t get to see the fall leaves, I was happy to beat the “leaf peeping” crowds that take over during the fall season. Also, I had the chance to stop in a quaint little cocktail bar I had been dying to visit – Au Comptoir!

Since it was a Wednesday evening, we figured it wouldn’t be too crowded…and we were right! From where we were seated at the bar, we had the perfect vantage point to admire the beautiful decor. Between the brick floor, the rustic beams and the classic marble countertop, the place was oozing with old world cozy charm!

Apparently, the owner is the co-founder of the famous Farmhouse Pottery, located just down the street. Both places share the same rustic country vibe including a lovely aroma from the beautifully scented candles!

From their menu, they offer a variety of unique cocktails and mocktails, organic wines and various snacks. When we visited, we tried a couple of their signature cocktails before heading over to Sante’ for dinner…which was another wonderful experience. Overall, our visit to Woodstock was the perfect place to spend an early fall evening with some mid-September vibes!
