White Ceramic Christmas Houses Look Great as a Table Centerpiece:

Why not showcase your ceramic houses where everyone can see them?  After all, who doesn’t love a cute ceramic house display during the holidays?  If you regularly read my blog, then you know that I love decorating seasonal tablescapes.  This one with the Christmas village was definitely a favorite…

Instead of decorating with just one or two ceramic houses, I wanted to group a bunch together.  For this table, I decorated the center with the white ceramic village.  From there, I used the ceramic houses as inspiration for the entire table.  As you can see, I stuck with a black and white theme and even coordinated the plates to match the white ceramic Christmas houses.  See all the details on that Christmas table blog post.

White Ceramic Houses Work With Any Color Scheme:

Since my dining room is navy, the white ceramic Christmas houses really stood out against the walls last year.  Of course, white goes with everything…which is why these cute little houses are so versatile!

Like I said, who doesn’t love a classic Christmas village?  So, if you want an updated look to the traditional Christmas village you remember from childhood, these white ceramic houses are the way to go!

You Can Decorate with Just a Couple Ceramic Houses:

If you want to keep it simple, a couple white ceramic houses can look just as pretty as a whole collection.  Plus, you can keep them on display all winter without looking too Christmas-y.  They’re just too cute to put away!

Most White Ceramic Houses are Inexpensive:

Sure, you can find white ceramic Christmas houses in any price range but most of mine were very inexpensive!  Over the years, I purchased most of my ceramic houses in Crate and Barrel and Target.  Though, I’ve probably picked up a few in Homegoods and other various discount stores along the way.

By the way, I’ve referred to these as “ceramic” houses but some are probably porcelain houses if that makes any difference to you.  I’ve even heard them called “pottery houses” as well.  Either way, I think they’re all adorable and we love decorating with them every year!

Hopefully, my ceramic house decorating ideas will give you a jump start for this Christmas season!

Now, if you want to start a collection of white ceramic Christmas houses, or add to your existing set, here are a bunch of shopping options – updated for 2022!

(I included a metal house too.)
