My Favorites of 2018
Every year I like to share some of my favorite posts. Although, these weren’t necessarily the most popular posts of the year, they are a handful of ones I liked for one reason or another. (You can find the most popular recap here – 10 Most Popular Posts of 2018).
Here are some of my favorites of 2018…

My Favorite Table Setting of 2018:
Spring Tulips on a Colorful Easter Table (2 Ways)
First of all, I love spring so it’s easy for me to be inspired to decorate a table during that season. In fact, I was so inspired that I ended up doing two versions of this table. Pop over and let me know which version you like better.
My Favorite Vignette of 2018:
3 Ways to Decorate a Bar Cart for Fall
Yes, this was the year I finally bought a bar cart! I had been eyeing them up for years and finally decided on this one when I redecorated my dining room. Apparently, I was very excited because I decorated the bar cart in 3 different ways for fall.
My Favorite Tip Post of 2018:
How My Indoor-Outdoor Rugs Have Held Up Over the Years
Of course, I have to squeeze my Rosie into a post somewhere! As you might know, she just loves to get involved. In this post, I took a look back at all our indoor-outdoor rugs. With a dog and boys, indoor-outdoor rugs are definitely the way to go in my home!
My Favorite Before and After of 2018:
Navy Dining Room Reveal – One Room Challenge
Even though this post also made my Most Popular Post list, I had to include it as one of my favorites. For years, I agonized over what color to repaint my red dining room. Once I committed to a color, I decided to make other updates to the room. Although I didn’t spend a lot of money, I was able to give the room a refresh. Now it’s one of my favorite rooms in the house!
By the way, my second choice for a Before and After went to my Plantation Shutters post. Hopefully, this year I will complete that room to make it a true transformation.
My Favorite Travel Post of 2018:
What I Loved About the Moana Surfrider Hotel in Waikiki
Since charming hotels (and rocking chairs on porches) are my thing, I loved sharing our experience at this lovely hotel. Of course, if you are looking for more posts about our summer trip to Hawaii, you will have to come back at another time. For some reason, I never wrote a recap! Seriously, I don’t know how that slipped by. After posting so many photos and stories on Instagram, I guess I thought I already wrote about it! If you just can’t wait (haha), swing by my Instagram feed and look through my saved stories and photos from June.
And since it’s always fun to take a look back, here are some links to my favorite posts from previous years!
I want to thank you for taking the time to stop by. As always, I appreciate your friendship and support throughout the year!
Best wishes for a wonderful 2019!
I’d love for you to follow along so you don’t miss a post!
