Ideas for Decorating with Bunnies:

Create a spring vignette with bunnies and flowers on a tray…

If you’re like me, you don’t want to go overboard with Easter decorations.  These days, I just like to add a few Easter touches.  Basically, I’d rather decorate more for the season than every holiday.  After all, who wants to constantly pack and unpack all those decorating bins?

Brighten up your kitchen window sill with bunnies and tulips…

If your kitchen sink faces a window, it’s nice to have something pretty to look at while doing dishes.  For more kitchen windowsill ideas, read – Easy Kitchen Window Sill Decorating Ideas for Every Season.  To keep things simple, I used artificial tulips for this display.

Add bunnies to your fireplace mantel…

One year, I went bunny and tulip crazy on my Easter mantel.  For this spring mantel, I started with the burlap bunny banner and continued with the green and pops of pink.  By the way, the bunny banner was from Homegoods but here are some other cute options.

Decorate your stove mantel or shelf with a bunny statue…

Another of my favorite Homegoods finds was my leaping bunny statue.  When decorating for Easter, I like to display it above my stove.  Every year, people ask where I found it and I have yet to find something similar.  Although, this wooden one has the same vibe.

Mix some stone bunnies in with your greenery…

To bring the outside in, mix some terra cotta bunnies in with your plants.  Between the textures and the greenery, this has such an organic feel.

Decorating with Bunnies – DIY Ideas:

If you don’t have any bunny decorations, make your own…

To make these bunny ears, I simply bent pipe cleaners to the shape of bunny ears and stuck them into my boxwood orbs.  To dress them up, I placed the orbs into antique tea cups.

Line them up on your kitchen window sill where you can enjoy them…

Since decorations look great displayed in threes, I lined three of of the teacup bunnies on my window sill.  If you’re decorating an Easter table, they’d also look cute on each of the place settings.

Create Easter bunny ears from cloth napkins…

In case you missed my Easter table ideas, this year I tried the bunny ear napkin roll!

Super-easy instructions for the bunny napkin fold:

  • Fold the napkin into a triangle.
  • Roll from the short end.
  • When finished, bend the rolled napkin and place the egg in the hole.
  • Tie twine or ribbon to hold in place.
  • Shape the “ears” to look like bunny ears.
