Corn Casserole Recipe with Cream Cheese and Mushrooms

If you’re looking for a delicious and easy corn casserole recipe, I’ve got a family favorite to share with you today!  Not only does this recipe make the perfect side dish, but it would make a great dip if you left off the breadcrumbs.  Perhaps, our corn casserole recipe with cream cheese will become one of your favorites as well!

Corn Casserole Recipe with Cream Cheese and Mushrooms:

An easy cheesy corn casserole…

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8 ounce) can of cream style corn
  • 2 Tablespoons of flour
  • 1 (3 ounce) package of cream chees (cubed)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 (8 ounce) can whole kernel corn (drained)
  • 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms (drained) or use fresh
  • 1/2 cup grated Swiss cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs

Instructions:

  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, mix cream style corn and flour.

  • Add cubed cream cheese and garlic salt.
  • Stir until cheese melts.

  • Add whole kernel corn and mushrooms.

  • Stir in swiss cheese.

  • Place mixture in a 1 quart casserole dish.

  • In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
  • Add bread crumbs and toss.

  • Top corn mixture with buttered bread crumbs.

  • Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Enjoy!

Cook Time 30 minutes
Total Time 40 minutes

Notes

To make as a dip, leave off the breadcrumbs.
