March 2020 – Take Me Away Travel Link Party
Welcome to the March 2020 Take Me Away Travel Link Party!
*I’m sorry to spring this on you but I’ve decided that this will be the *LAST* Take Me Away Travel party.
When I first started my blog, I was focusing on both travel and home decor. Over time, I have focused less and less on travel and I’ve been feeling guilty for not giving this party the attention it deserves. Although I have loved reading all your amazing travel posts each month, I thought it was time to end the party. I hope you all understand. Thank you for joining me on this blog party adventure these past few years!
Even though, Take Me Away will be ending, please feel free to link up your travel posts at the party I co-host called Best of the Month! That party starts on the first Friday of the month and runs through the end of the month. But for now, feel free to link up your travel posts here – one more time!

Thank you so much for the feature! I really appreciate it. I am so sorry to see the party end. Too many bloggers are ending their link ups and I have no idea why. I feel what brings me to a blog is a link up or a post I saw on a link up. I most likely will never visit a blog otherwise.

I think I will start featuring one each month over there. Yes, a lot of bloggers do seem to be ending link ups unfortunately. They are a lot of work. In the case of this one, it didn’t look like many people were clicking the links to read the posts. I hope you understand. Enjoy your weekend!
Oh Shelley, I am so very sad to see this great party end! It’s the only travel party I participate in and really appreciate all the featured posts, including this month’s Greek cruise. It’s also been a great source for vacation ideas and inspiration from other bloggers — events, places and getaways I wouldn’t have known about on my own.
I’m sorry Debbee! I feel the same way about all the wonderful inspiration. Believe me, I almost changed my mind and decided to keep going with it. Now that we changed our Best of the Month party (from a weekly one), I felt like a should make a decision on this one. I hope you understand. Like I said, feel free to add travel posts to the Best of the Month party. I will probably add a travel feature to that. Thanks for expressing your opinions, friend.

I’m so sorry to hear your ending this, but totally understand. I haven’t linked up as much lately since we haven’t traveled as much in recent years. I love your home decor so will continue to enjoy reading those posts. Have a wonderful weekend!
