Weekend Pupdate #13

If we had a dog house,

someone around here would be in it!

This is an actual caught-in-the-act picture.

See those pots behind Rosie’s guilty little face?

That’s where my day lillies from last year

were just starting to sprout up.

Well, not anymore!

A certain mischievous little dog

decided to tear into them.

So much for leaving her

out on her big playpen of a deck

while I am in the house!

What?

I didn’t do anything….

Such trouble…

Happy Mother’s Day everyone!

  1. Awww, but look at that face!!!!I put a pot with just dirt in it on our deck. We've already had many discussions with Ike about staying out of it. I'm slightly afraid to put flowers in it!

  2. Awww love that gold that's filling in! And yes, we're ALL too familiar with the digging golden!! Ha! Hope you had a great Mother's Day!

  3. Uh oh, shes's lucky she's so cute! Looks like she knows it wasn't the best idea! 🙂

  4. Just found you today via Savvy Southern Style. Loved this post. My good friend and summer neighbor from CT has a new golden, so I copied your last photo of that cutest mug shot ever and wished her a happy mothers day in the email I sent her. I credited the picture to you of course but just wanted to let you know about it and also to tell you it is by far, THE CUTEST MUG SHOT EVERRRRRRR! What a face, with her eyes closed to boot. By the way, I'm a Jersey girl too! It just so happens I Live at the shore and laughed when I read all your Jersey Shore posts. I'm 2 miles in from the Mantoloking Bridge on the Metedeconk River, so I do know all the locations you have spoken about, and we all HATE Snooki and her kind, here at the Shore. My son lived in Seaside for about a year and could not believe the antics and the "staged events" that happened all the time around them and "the house". When they are done filming for the season they throw EVERYTHING out of the house to the curb and fix the house up again, repairing all the things that got broken by them. It's incredible what the owner of the home gets paid for this. Well anyways….Great blog, enjoyed dropping inJeanne

    1. Jeanne – Thanks for stopping by and leaving the entertaining comment. I hope your friend enjoys the silly "mug shot" picture! Goldens can be such characters! Rosie is almost 5 months old and I have enjoyed documenting her growth (and antics) on my blog. And how great that you live in New Jersey too! It really is a wonderful place to live – such a shame our state gets such a bad reputation…Thanks again for stopping by and have a great week!- Shelley

  5. That last photo made me laugh soooo hard! (Pinning it to share the joy!) Tucker has been known to dig in the dirt, too. Silly dogs! Please give Rosie a hug for me.
