Decorating Ideas for Spring:
Come get inspired…

Now, come take a look at how I’ve decorated recently…
My Easter Brunch Table Setting Tips:
Start with an inspiration piece…
Recently, I purchased a green gingham tablecloth. The casual checkered design felt perfect for an Easter brunch table setting.
As a base, the green tablecloth sets the tone for spring and garden inspired decor.
Layer with classic white dishes and cabbage ware…
In my opinion, everyone should own a set of white dishes. They go with everything and make a great foundation for layering other pieces. This time, I layered mine with woven chargers and green cabbage ware dishes.
Add playful Easter details with bunny accents…
For my Easter brunch table setting, I used my leaping bunny statue as the focal point for the centerpiece. Since everyone always asks where I bought the bunny, it’s from Homegoods…years ago. Although recently, I found this adorable leaping bunny which is just as charming!
Then to add more subtle Easter touches, I added my gingham bunny ear napkin rings.
Embrace spring with flowers (real or faux)…
During this time of year, it’s easy to find tulips in the stores. Although, my tulips are artificial. Sometimes, it’s just easier to go with faux flowers…especially, if you’re setting your table ahead of time.
To anchor my flowers and bunny, I placed them on a long wooden bread board down the center of the table.
The pops of pink brings life the the subtle colors on the table. For spring, pink and green feels so fresh and classic.
Other Ideas for an Easter Table:
- Swap tulips for daffodils or other spring flowers
- Use stripes or similar patterned linens
- Fill vases with Easter eggs for colorful accents

Additional Easter touches around the house…
To coordinate with my Easter brunch table setting, I decorated my kitchen island with a bunny and a pitcher of pink cherry blossoms.
Later, I ended up swapping out the cherry blossoms for a vase full of Easter eggs and some white dogwood stems.
Basically, I wanted some pink for my front door so I moved the cherry blossoms out there. Although, the basket idea might not hold up to the weather…or the birds! (Last year, I gave up on wreaths and baskets and went with a door hanging instead.)
For reference, here’s last year’s spring door decor… (For more spring door ideas, read – Spring Door Decor.)
To end with my last bit of spring refreshing, I exchanged my winter mantel decor for a few spring pieces. Bring on the warmer weather!

Shelley you have so many pretty touches of spring in this lovely post. I adore the front door decor. 🙂
Thanks Laura! I think I need a longer door hook though. I’d like the basket to hang a little lower…Details, details…
Oh how cute is this table? I love the soft green checked table cloth with the pink tulips. The leaping bunny is so adorable and the bread board adds the perfect rustic warmth to anchor the tablescape. The little bunny ear napkin rings are so adorable too. Your whole dining room and kitchen just looks so fresh and ready for the season!
I hope you enjoy a blessed and beautiful Easter!
Thanks for joining the hop!
Thanks so much Amber! It’s always fun to bring out some spring decor! Thanks again for organizing!
Shelley, your simple Easter brunch table setting hits all the hight points for me. You know, I’m as crazy about gingham as you are! Plus the bunny ear napkin rings are just adorable!
Thanks Michelle – gotta love gingham! I never get tired of it! Great hopping with you!
I enjoy that we have similar taste in decor! That tells me I’m doing something right! Your bunny centerpiece is adorable with the place settings and napkin rings. Can you believe I don’t have napkin rings? You’ve inspired me to find some. Might not get to it before Easter but I WILL be getting some! lol. Everything looks great with the backdrop of your beautiful kitchen too. Hope you have a marvelous Easter. Happy Spring.
Thanks Cindy! Yes, we do have similar taste, don’t we! Get some napkin rings, girl! Have a Happy Easter!
