Late October Decorating Ideas to Embrace the Fall

After all, fall isn’t over yet!  So, grab your pumpkin spiced latte and let’s get inspired!

Decorate with trendy earth tones…

A few years ago, colored glass started to get very popular.  At that time, I bought some brown glass bottles and I’ve continued to decorate with them every fall.  When I displayed them on my kitchen windowsill, they added a cozy fall glow to the room.  

During the fall season, I like to use my amber colored wine glasses…and every year, I get questions about them.  Years ago, I bought mine at a Southern Living home party but you can currently find a limited selection on Replacements.com.

Style your mantel with fall leaves…

Decorate for late October with simple Halloween decor…

With my kids in college, I’ve really scaled back on the Halloween decorations in recent years.  Though, I still enjoy a few subtle Halloween touches in my home.  One year, I added some stickers to candles to make simple ghosts.  Seriously, you can’t get any easier than that!  For more “DIY” ghost decorations, read – DIY Halloween Ghost Decorations.
