Decorated Bakers Rack – Festive Christmas Inspiration

This past weekend, I worked on some more Christmas decorations.

One area that I always enjoy decorating is my bakers rack in the kitchen.

This year for Christmas, I stayed mostly with greens and white with a sprinkling of red.

I bought this “Believe” sign at Michael’s the other day for a dollar something.

Someone bought me the Christmas cream and sugar china years ago.  It’s Waterford Holiday Heirlooms and these are the only two pieces I own.

Besides the “Believe” sign, I bought two conifers and white pots.  (I bought a third one for my Sonoma Bookshelf – HERE)

This white dove always makes it in my Christmas displays.  (I used the berry wreath in my window last year HERE).

So that’s my 2012 Christmas Bakers Rack!  I used a lot less color compared to last year…

Actually, I had two slightly different versions.  Click HERE to see both.

I feel like this year I toned all my colors down a bit here and all over the house.

Do you change your holiday decorations each year?

Looking really good. I like how you stuck to two colors. A monochromatic scheme is always a great one. xo

Hi Shelley, I'm a new visitor to your blog, and found you over at Coastal Charm. I really love what you did with your baker's rack. It looks so pretty with just the green and white and a little bit of red. And I had to chuckle, because I don't know whether you're always this way, or if it's just this one piece, but I like how everything is very symmetrical. 🙂 That's the way I decorate too, even though I try not to sometimes. Have a great day!Debbie

Your baker's rack looks very pretty all dressed in whites and greens, Shelley. I also like the way you decorated it last year. I really like the 2 white ironstone pitchers.
