Holiday Decorating with Cranberries:
Fill a glass vase or hurricane with cranberries…
Last year, for my Cozy Christmas Home Tour I used some of my leftover cranberries to fill a glass hurricane for Christmas. Since I was decorating with red throughout my home, the cranberries were a simple way to add even more color.
Not only do fresh cranberries add color to holiday decor, but they are a great way to add some natural elements to a space. For my Classic and Cozy Christmas House Tour I decorated with vases of cranberries on my dining room table. Such a simple idea for any tabletop. Plus, when you fill glass vases with cranberries and white candles you also add some sparkle to a room!
Holiday Decorating with Cranberries – Easy Craft:
Create your own cranberry luminaries…
If you’d like to get creative with your leftover cranberries, grab a few mason jars and make some super-easy luminaries. For instructions for these along with more cranberry decorations, read these ideas for leftover cranberries.
Holiday Entertaining – Simple Cranberry Recipes:
Celebrate cranberries this Thanksgiving or Christmas…
Each year, we host Thanksgiving and each year I make this apple orange cranberry sauce recipe. Even though there are some guests and family members who prefer canned cranberry sauce over fresh, most of us love this recipe! Usually, I make it a day or two before Thanksgiving and it makes the house smell wonderful! Plus, it goes great with Thanksgiving leftovers!
Last year, I used some dried cranberries to make this cute Christmas tree pinwheel appetizer! Besides being a fun finger food, it was a great way to do some holiday decorating with cranberries! My friend, Jen from – Midwest Life and Style shared the recipe on her blog and I had to try it! So festive, right?
Holiday Shopping Ideas:
Recently, these cranberry inspired items caught my eye…
