Weekend Pupdate #23
Due to the heat earlier in the week,
Rosie spent a lot of time indoors
enjoying the air conditioning and cold tile floor…
and her toys.
She gathers them up to sleep
just like my younger son does at bedtime!
With the high temperatures,
it was hard to be outside
working on the Invisible Fence training.
We have to train out there 3 times a day.
Rosie is actually doing pretty well so far.
That’s my girl!
By the end of the week,
the rain arrived and cooled everything down.
“Are you telling me I can’t go out there?”
That innocent look didn’t work.
She thinks I forgot what a wet dog makes my house smell like!
Oh well,
rainy days are good for napping anyway!
A day or two later,
Rosie was back to her normal antics…
like killing bugs on the deck!
Such entertainment…
And I wonder why I can’t get anything done around here!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
How has the weather been in your area?
Love your little exterminator playing with her bug! So glad you got the much needed rain, and she's back to enjoying her yard!
I'm impressed she has so many soft toys. Ike kills them in 2 seconds! She's a busy pup!
I didn't know there was training involved with an invisible fence.
Aw, so nice to see her updates! She's gotten so big, still just gorgeous! I had to contend with my very wet and muddy Golden girl a few times this weekend, she just HAS to go out in the rain…sigh, bring on Spring!! xo K
Hi Shelley, Rosie is a big girl now…Wow! Mine are completely house pups. They only go out to potty and back inside. I don't think they even know what the heat is. We run a large fan for them all year around with the air on during the summer. Right now, I don't blame them because it is very hot outside with temps at 98 degrees. Needless to say, we are all eating a lot of ice-cream! Lol. Enjoyed your post!
She's become such a beautiful dog!! Love the pic of her sleeping with her toys!! So sweet!! xo
What a precious picture of Rosie with her toys going to sleep! Dogs are so funny…and so individual! My rosie sleeps by her food bowl to protect it from our new puppy! Lol! And the puppy lives to get to Rosie's food bowl! Just like children! It's been ridiculously hot here in Birmingham but at least yesterday it let up a little for our outdoor Market Day event at my shop! so thankful for that! hope you've had a wonderful weekend!
Rosie is growing so fast… but she's always a cutie! We've had a lot of rain and cold weather… now summer is back, we sit outside, enjoy our BBQ and cold drinks… Life is gooood :-))
