Take Me Away Link Party – November 2017
Happy November everyone! I am sure many of you are taking down the Halloween decor and decorating for Christmas. I packed away my Halloween decorations but I keep the general fall stuff out until Thanksgiving. We host dinner every year so I don’t take out the Christmas boxes until the next day – no Black Friday shopping for me! That’s decorating day…actually decorating weekend! I think one year we went to Vermont that weekend and it threw off my decorating schedule.

I'm with you, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and the Christmas stuff stays packed until Saturday of that weekend. I don't shop on Friday, we have friends visit and chow down on leftovers. I like to enjoy that one more day of my favorite time of year before putting my turkeys away.
It's nice to be able to focus on one holiday at a time…that's all I can handle!
