Savoring Summer – Best of the Weekend 08-09-19
Why is everyone always rushing to the next season? Don’t you agree we should be savoring summer and living in the moment more? In my opinion, there is plenty of time to enjoy the fall season so we should embrace these lazy summer days of August!

Alfresco dining is the best! I could eat outdoors every day…Enjoy what is left of your summer and thanks for joining us!
Thanks for hosting , Shelley!!!

You’re welcome, Deb! Thanks for joining us!
Thanks for hosting, Shelley. Your pool looks divine! Can I come stand in it for hours on end? We’re in a mid-to-high nineties stretch and I need to cool off!
You’re welcome – and sure come on over! I hope your temps cool off so you can enjoy what’s left of the summer!
I totally agree about embracing the moment—especially in Texas when the hot temps will last well into October! I am looking forward to seeing the before/after post of your backyard, and I am guessing Rosie will love that Baja shelf in your beautiful pool🌊!
Thanks so much, Diane! Yes, as soon as we tweak a few things (and replace a few plants that already died), I will do the before and after. So far, Rosie is intrigued by the pool. We got her to come down a step and walk around on the sun shelf/baja shelf but she’s still a little scared. I guess it’s better than having her diving in all the time. That wet dog smell isn’t the most appealing thing in the world! Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
Thank you so much for featuring my July books!
You’re welcome, Joanne! Nothing like some great books to relax with on the beach! Thanks for joining us!
Thanks so much for the feature! That is so awesome!
You’re welcome, Amy! Enjoy your week!
Always fun to drop by and visit your blog, Shelley. Thanks for the party, even when I don’t have a post to link.
Thanks, Rita! Glad to see that you are inspired by the party…there really is so much talent out there!
Thanks friend! Just added my link! Love all the inspiration!
