Weekend Pupdate #5
Here we are with another installment of Rosie!
Showing off her newest toy!
It’s amazing how fast a golden retriever puppy grows!
She actually looks like a big dog in this picture!
Since she is not supposed to go up and down stairs, I end up carrying her outside every time she has to go.
She is almost too big and heavy for me to carry!
Of course she only has to go up and down two steps so it probably won’t be a big deal for her to use them soon.
As usual, this week she has been getting lots of love.
She is still stealing things like towels and shoes.
But she is doing really well with her other training.
She has mastered the “sit” command.
But she didn’t enjoy the Hawaiian costume we dressed her up in.
By the way, we didn’t buy this for her if you think we have gone over the top with dog craziness!
She kept trying to eat the lei.
Please take this thing off me!
And even when we let her out of her crate or fenced in area, she finds a little nook to squish up and sleep in.
But of course the week was not without drama!
You might recall how she had a bladder infection these past few weeks.
Her medicine ended at the beginning of the week and wouldn’t you know it…by Wednesday her bladder infection had returned!
So we had to start her back on the antibiotics and go back to bringing her outside every hour.
Even at night she couldn’t hold it so we were getting up every few hours and there were still times when her crate was wet!
You better stay cute little dog…
Oh yeah, and her name this week is “Defective Doggie” because of the ongoing bladder infection!
It’s a good thing the weather has been nice with all these outside trips.
It is supposed to be in the high 60’s this week!

She's growing so fast, still super cute! Hope the uti clears up soon, glad her training is going well, they are pretty quick to learn especially when food's involved! 🙂 xo K
She is so stinkin cute!! I can't stand it! Hopefully her bladder infections will be a thing of the past and she will start sleeping better. What a lovebug.
Oh, poor Rosie. Hearing about her UTIs make me wonder if my dog had one that went undiagnosed. Maybe that's why training her was so hard? Oh, I hope not, I'd feel awful 🙁 Anyway, I was excited to see Rosie pictures. I can't believe how quickly she's growing!
Thanks everyone, for your concern about my little girl. I think I am good at diagnosing things because I am such a hypochondriac! At least it comes in handy in situations like this! Hopefully this medicine will knock it out of her this time! If not and I have to go back to taking her out every hour AGAIN in a couple weeks, I will lose it! Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Boy, Rosie is growing so fast! Hopefully she will outgrow these bladder infections. In the meantime, she is awfully adorable!
