Caribbean Inspired Lighting

On our escape to Turks and Caicos last year (without the kids), we stayed in a fabulous hotel called The Regent Palms…

Although I was loving all this natural light, I was also obsessing over the light fixtures at the resort!

I started planning where I could put them in my house!  (well maybe not the palm tree one here..)

But this one was definitely my favorite!  In fact, I have been trying to convince my husband to add on a sunroom in our house so I could have a beadboard ceiling and this little cutie!

Now this one is kind of big for my house…but I absolutely LOVE it!  I think I need a new patio with a cute little seating area and outdoor fireplace..then this would work!  It would also be really cool in a Pottery Barnish dining room…

This one is similar to my front porch lights.  Love that curl on top!

And here is one of mine.  It is made by Hinkley Lighting.

Does anyone else spend time taking silly pictures of lighting while on vacation?  Well, I did relax a bit too…

I will tell you more about this wonderful resort soon…
