The beaches at Cape May and Ocean City were my favorites growing up. My uncle was a fisherman. He and my aunt had a house in Wildwood. It was so fun to visit them during the off seasons when the tourists were gone and the beaches were less crowded. Thanks for sharing your list and stirring up some sweet memories.
You're so lucky to visit the beach so often. Your posts really make me miss my old life in San Diego!
I live in Philadelphia and always grew up going to south Jersey towns – Ocean City, Wildwood Crest, Cape May… Love them all!
Maybe one year we'll ditch Disney and come up to some of these spots. Did I just write that?!?! You are lucky to have such great towns nearby! xoxo
I love this post – The shore is one of my most favorite places to be. Great pics.
Growing up I remember many fun family vacations to Wildwood and Cape May, which was my favorite, I loved the beautiful historic homes there. I hope to visit again someday with my hubby and girls. Hope you are having a great weekend!
I live by the bay just across from Island Beach State Park and Seaside Park, White Sands Beach belongs to our town. So those are favorites of mine. Cape May would have to be a big one on the list for me as well.
You know that I'm loving this post! I WILL make it to the Jersey shore next summer!
Ah memories!! I used to stay down at Midway beach with a friends family in high school and ride my bike everyday to work at Park Bakery in Sea Side park!! Good times..goodtimes!
Boo-hooo! I had to turn off NPR today because they were interviewing someone who was on the beach. I could hear waves crashing in the background.
