Almost Thanksgiving – Best of the Weekend 11-22-19

Well, here we are…it’s almost Thanksgiving!  Hopefully, you are all set for the big turkey day.  Unfortunately, I am behind but like every year, everything ends up falling into place.

Welcome to this week’s edition of Best of the Weekend link party!  We are so happy you could join us!  As always, we invite you to link up your creative posts which may include home decor, DIY, crafts, recipes, tips and more!

**Link Party Update:  Before we get started, I just wanted to let you know that Liberty and I have discussed changing the link party for 2020.  Instead of having a weekly Best of the Weekend, we are thinking we might change it to a monthly, “Best of the Month” party that would stay open most of the month.  Like I said, we have discussed this but would love to have your thoughts.  Are you happy with the traffic you get from the party?…Would a monthly party be hard to remember?…etc…  Please leave comments below.

Before we begin this week’s party, let’s take a look back at the past week…

Every week, we share the most popular post from the previous week’s party on both of our blogs.  In addition, each hostess picks a few favorites to share.  Be sure to check out each of our blogs to see all the features!

Also, remember to stop by our original Best of the Weekend Pinterest Board  and our newest Best of the Weekend Link Party Features where we pin the features each week!   For now, we will continue to pin the features to both of those boards.

Each week, I also share the features on my Instagram stories so be sure to follow along!

Thanks so much for hosting Shelley and for featuring my 5 Thanksgiving Tablescapes. I know how much time it takes to have a link-up party. I think you both should decide what is best for you. It seems there are so few link parties now. I appreciate you having it and all the time involved. Wishing you and your family a most wonderful Thanksgiving!

Shelley, I enjoyed your features and thank you so much for hosting the party! I understand that hosting a weekly link party can be quite a time commitment. I am very grateful that you and Liberty provide a forum for your fellow bloggers to share ideas, inspiration and stories. I get so much from visiting those who link up, and love to discover new blogs. My traffic varies, but is always the greatest on the first day of the party. That has been my experience whether the party is held weekly or bi-weekly.
    Happy Thanksgiving!

I know all too well how much time it takes to host a weekly party. I hope that it will stay weekly but if you two decide to go with monthly, I’ll still participate.
