Let’s not let our lives become so busy that we forget to enjoy the simple summer pleasures. From a relaxing book on the beach, to an outdoor barbecue, we need to soak up every moment of the sweet summer season. Before long, the kids will be back to school and we will be preparing for the holidays…and dare I say the dreaded word…(snow!) Let’s all try to live in the moment and savor what’s left of the precious summer season!

Shelley, it’s so nice to see someone not in a mad rush for fall! Yesterday, I tried unsuccessfully in about 10 stores to find some tropic (pineapple and flamingo too) tableware, linens and accessories. Thanks for featuring my coastal decorated kitchen! I plan to enjoy it through Labor Day weekend. And for the good read suggestion this week too!
