Me too! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year — non commercial and all about family and passing along traditions and memories. Thanks for featuring my Birds of a Feather table Shelley. It includes a number of vintage elements passed down in the family that I cherish. Today I shared my latest; a pumpkin patch theme Thanksgiving brunch as part of the tablescape hop.

Even though I start right after Halloween, decorating for Christmas, I fully celebrate Thanksgiving. For the past 32 years, I have held Thanks giving Dinner at my house, cooking every single item that my family of 5 has for dinner. I have also had to work either the Eve or the Day of Thanksgiving because as a Staff RN, hospitals stay open on Holidays and you have to work either the eve or the day of every Holiday when you work night shift. I just worked my schedule of sleeping around my Thanksgiving Day dinner. And since it takes me almost 25 days to decorate my house inside and out for Christmas, I have to start early to enjoy it for Christmas.
    Thanks for hosting!!
    Hugs,
    Debbie

Sounds like you are very busy this time of year. I can understand why you have to start decorating early! Maybe if I stretched my decorating out a little more, I would be less stressed about trying to get most of it done in one weekend! Thanks for sharing your decorating schedule and for joining us this week!
