Summer Home Ideas to Welcome June:
June is a great month to freshen up your curb appeal…
On June 6th, I headed “down the shore” to attend the annual Spring Lake Historic House Tour. Even though we couldn’t take photos inside the homes, we took plenty outside for inspiration. Of course, this home is stunning on it’s own. With the addition of the American flag, the neatly trimmed hedges and the row of planted flowers, this coastal home is ready to welcome summer!
Speaking of curb appeal, isn’t this the most charming coastal cottage? From the unique roof lines to the wide front porch with classic lanterns, this home stops you in your tracks. Even the window boxes and wicker furniture on the porch add to the inviting feel of the home. If I could, I’d show you photos from inside the home because the gorgeousness didn’t end outside!
Add some color to your backyard…
In addition to the pretty front exteriors, many of the homes on the tour also had lovely backyard spaces. For instance, these homeowners designed a perfect spot for summer entertaining. With tall green hedges and a white fence as a backdrop, a colorful blue sectional stands out as a focal point. Pink flowers throughout the yard make the space feel cheerful and welcoming! Don’t you feel like adding to color to your yard now?
Interior Home Tours to Welcome June:
Even though I couldn’t take you inside the houses on the Spring Lake Tour, I can take you inside a bunch of blogger homes. This week, I’ll be joining a group of bloggers for a Summer Home Tour! From Monday, June 10th though Thursday, June 13th, we’ll be sharing our summer decorating ideas to inspire you. On Tuesday, I’ll take you on a tour of my home where I decorated in a breezy coastal style! So, be sure to come back for all the summer decorating inspiration!
