5 Reasons We Love L.L. Bean (Favorite Retailer Review)

Over the years, my family has had many positive experiences dealing with L.L. Bean.  If you’ve never ordered for them, maybe my review will inspire you to check out their merchandise.  Today, I’ll list the reasons we love L.L. Bean!

5 Reasons We Love L.L. Bean:

1.  L.L. Bean has Quality Merchandise:

One of the main reasons we love L.L. Bean is the caliber of their merchandise.  Overall, there are no surprises here.  You expect good quality from them and that is what you get.  After all, they know what they’re doing… L.L. Bean has been in business since 1912! 

Two years ago, I bought my son a jacket from another “similar” online retailer and was disappointed in the quality.  We had ongoing problems with the zipper where it would unzip from the bottom.  When he would get home from school we’d have to play around with the zipper to get him out of the jacket.  After awhile, I was going to return it but a friend told me that she had the same problem too. 

Instead of returning that jacket, I ended up just buying a jacket from LLBean and I was very happy with it.  The L.L. Bean jacket has held up extremely well with not one zipper problem.  And if my son ever does have a zipper problem in the future, L.L.Bean will fix it!

2. Classic L.L. Bean Style:

When I shop, I like knowing I can consistently get a classic style that I am looking for.  Even though L.L. Bean updates their merchandise, they also continue to stay within their classic style range.  In my opinion, there are certain things you just don’t need to keep changing!

3. Great Customer Service:

Yes, this is a big one for me!  When I buy something, I like knowing that I can get a problem resolved quickly and efficiently.  Last year, I ordered my son a backpack with his three initials on it.  After opening the package and writing his name on the inside tag, I noticed that the stitching with his initials was unfinished.  Only a part of a letter or two was there and the rest was missing. 

So, I called the L.L. Bean customer service department and explained the problem.  Thankfully, they told me they would send out a corrected backpack right away.  They even told me my son could use the defective one until we received the new one.  Once the new backpack arrived, we could send the old one back to them in the prepaid package they provided.  Not only was their customer service representative courteous and professional, but we were so impressed with the return process.

4.  Positive Reviews from L.L. Bean Customers:

If you’re like me, you find it helpful to read customer reviews.  Through them, you can really get a feel of how well the company takes care of their customers.  Not only does L.L.Bean care about their customers but they’re also environmentally and socially conscious.  You can read all about their social impact on their website.

5. L.L. Bean Merchandise is Made in the USA:

When I shop, I love dealing with companies that produce their merchandise in the USA!  Why do we have to buy everything that is made in China anyway?

By the way, you probably know, L.L. Bean also has in-person retail stores, unfortunately, I am not lucky enough to have one by me!  Are you?
