Quick Fall Recipe (When You are in the Mood for Pumpkin!)
It’s almost a requirement to indulge in something pumpkin this time of year, isn’t it?
For the past couple of years when October rolls around, I head to Williams Sonoma and splurge on my favorite Spiced Pecan Pumpkin Quick Bread.
Sure, it’s not exactly cheap but it’s so worth it!
All you have to do is add 2 eggs, butter and water.
Sometimes I make muffins from the mix but this time I made bread in my loaf pan.
As you can see, we almost finished the bread before I remembered to take a picture!
There is also a recipe on the bag for the cream cheese frosting which is is an absolute must!
In the past, I have made the bread for Thanksgiving, brought it to friends’ houses, and made it for our family. Everyone always asks for the recipe and it gets gobbled up pretty quickly. With its perfect mixture of pumpkins, pecans and spices, it really lives up to its name!
So, run over to your nearest Williams Sonoma and pick up a bag or two….you won’t be disappointed!
Or swing by the Williams Sonoma website  where you can also read all the great reviews on the bread! (I am not being compensated to mention them).
Just a quick tip: Stick a toothpick in it 5-10 minutes early to check if it is done so you don’t overcook it. It might just be my oven, but I usually end up baking it a few minutes less than the recipe instructs.
Oh, and another quick tip:Â This is a seasonal item so you can only buy it in the fall!
Enjoy!
