March in New Jersey

This warm spring weather is just crazy…and wonderful!

This is what New Jersey looks like this year – yesterday, March 23rd:

And here is a picture from last year on March 23rd:

Guess which one I like better!

What is the weather like where you live?

Shelley that is CRAZY! We have similar weather in MA and I have been so thankful each and every day of this crazy snowless winter! My kids played outside all the time – hallelujah. Your tree looks so pretty!!! Enjoy it and have a wonderful weekend.

Wow, what a difference a year makes. We are past the blooms part on a lot of trees and already have full green leaves. The pollen is absurd this year since it all bloomed at once.

What a difference, huh? But that tree is absolutely beautiful! We are having beautiful 80 degrees and sunny weather. It is crazy! Have a beautiful day! Hugs

You just never know what's going to happen year to year. It really has been a fantastic winter and Spring for us in Florida and it sounds like it's the same for everyone. Have a good weekend.

Isn't that something? Our spring has been unusually warm this year. I'm worried what the summer is going to be like. Oh well, take it as it comes.Gorgeous tree!

Both photos are beautiful in their own way, I think. I have wished for a good snow like that all winter but it never happened. The tree is a very pretty color and really looks like spring. Our weather is weird, too. We had a terrible lightening storm with small hail last night and a brief hail storm earlier today. Is Rosie afraid of thunder? Two of mine don't like it at all! I have to sit with them to calm them. Yes, they are spoiled. Enjoy your spring weather, Shelley!—— Shannon

Well here in this part of Oregon we had beautiful cherry blossoms. Then we had an odd snow storm. So today while the sun was shinning lots of people were out cleaning up yards with broken trees. Out in the road, on houses, on fences etc.. Odd for this part of the country this time of year.

It has been nice in LI, but out in Southampton where I live we aren't as far along as you in NJ with the trees. Forsythia are just starting to bloom. It is quite a change from last year! Thanks for stopping by!

Oh my goodness, what a difference! I would MUCH prefer the first picture! It feels like our winter has just begun here in the SF Bay area, but I really can't complain since that just means rain rain rain (no snow!).
