Decorating with Flowers – Tips and Inspiration

On Valentine’s Day, we can’t help but think of flowers!  Well, and chocolate, of course.  My husband had this lovely bouquet of roses delivered yesterday and I am loving the way they have brightened up the kitchen!  By now, he knows how much I love decorating with flowers!

During these dreary winter months, it’s always so nice to have some color to add to your home.  At this point, the Christmas decor is away (let’s hope that’s true for everyone!) and if you are like me, you have gone through a beginning of the year clear out of your home.  In my home, decorating with flowers can really liven things up!

    1. Thank you!! Someone once told me to put a penny in the water. I tried it after that and I think it helped…Happy Valentine's Day to you too!

  2. I buy flowers often at the grocery store. I don’t have a good flower shop nearby either in Florida or Ohio. I love the way tulips look, but I don’t like how they “grow” and don’t stay how I arrange them!

    1. I’ve been pretty lucky with the grocery store selections. Yes, I know what you mean about the tulips…at least they look good for a few days!
